Terms of Service

Welcome to Howrah Photographer (https://howrahphotographer.com). By booking our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any engagement or payment.

1. Service Overview

Howrah Photographer provides professional photography services, specializing in weddings and related events in Howrah, Kolkata, and surrounding regions.

2. Booking and Payment Terms

  • Advance Payment: Clients are required to pay 50% of the total package cost at the time of booking.

  • Final Payment: The remaining 50% must be paid immediately after the event concludes.

  • Editing Work: Photo and video editing will begin only after full and final payment has been received.

  • Payments can be made via cash, bank transfer, UPI, or any other method as mutually agreed upon.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellation by Client: The advance payment is non-refundable in case of cancellation by the client.

  • Rescheduling: If the event date is changed due to unforeseen circumstances, we will try to accommodate the new date, subject to availability.

  • Cancellation by Photographer: In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfill your booking, the advance will be refunded in full.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients are responsible for providing accurate event details and contact information.
  • If event duration is beyond 3+ hours, clients must provide Food and Refreshments to the team, because professionals would not be able to leave the live event for food.

  • Any special requests or required shots must be discussed and agreed upon before the event.

5. Copyright and Usage Rights

  • Howrah Photographer retains the copyright to all images and videos captured during the event.

  • Clients receive a license for personal use of the delivered photos and videos.

  • We reserve the right to use selected images for our portfolio, website, and social media unless the client explicitly requests otherwise in writing.

6. Delivery Timeline

  • Photo and video delivery timelines will be discussed during booking.

  • Delays may occur in case of pending payments or unforeseen circumstances.

7. Limitation of Liability

We will take every reasonable measure to deliver high-quality work. However, we are not liable for:

  • Delays due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, equipment failure)

  • Missed moments due to client delays or coordination issues
